Returns & Refunds

The Site offers products and services for sale. Some products are physical and will be mailed or shipped to you. Other products and services are digital and may be available immediately upon completing a purchase transaction. In either case, our goal is to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. So what happens if you change your mind after you’ve bought something?

Returning physical products – Books and Course Materials

You’re welcome to return a book for a full refund within 14 days from the date of purchase. In order to receive a refund you’ll need to follow these rules:

  • Books must be in the same condition in which we shipped it to you. We’re not responsible for any damage incurred during transit. When preparing your package for shipment, you may choose to purchase insurance for your package from any UPS store or your post office.
  • For new books, access codes and any CDs/DVDs must be unused/unopened.
  • All components (workbooks, study guides, CDs/DVDs, etc.) must be returned.
  • Mail your return to this address (and yes, you’ll need to pay the postage)

Refund guidelines

If you follow the rules, this is what happens next: (We won’t accept packages that are COD, so don’t try to slip that past us)

  • We will inspect your return to make sure it looks like what we expected. If so, we’ll credit you 100% of your purchase price. If you return a book in “used” condition even though we sold it to you in new condition, we’ll refund you 30% of the price of a new book.
  • We will credit you once your book arrives and is inspected (typically takes 2-4 business days).
  • Please allow up to 2 weeks to for your bank or credit care to show the refund.
  • Refund will be issued to the original form of payment.

Returning physical products – Merchandise
You may return all other merchandise for a full refund within 21 days from the date of purchase. In order to receive a refund you’ll need to follow these rules:

Returning damaged items

In the rare event that you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately so we can take corrective action. We cannot be held responsible for damaged items after 30 days from the date on your receipt.

Returning digital products

You may return a digital product (i.e. eTextbook, online course, or digital license) for a full refund within 14 days from the date of purchase, provided that it has not been activated. Once you complete registration, apply an activation code, or otherwise login to the digital product and begin using it, you are no longer eligible for a refund.
